(May 31, 2019) Because its 650 plus acre multi-purpose facility, Heartland Motorsports Park in Topeka Kansas, has been asked to assist in the safe continuation of a 24 year Kansas tradition, the 2019 Country Stampede. The venue location change came from the recent severe weather and risk of flooding which created extremely unsafe conditions for fan safety at Tuttle Creek State Park in Manhattan.
The phrase “the show must go on” means that all of the artists and pre-sold tickets will be honored for the same show in Topeka as it was in Manhattan. The three day music festival will feature top country music artists and lifestyle attractions from Thursday June 20 to Saturday, June 22. Fans not already having purchased tickets can still get them at www.countrystampede.com.
The Country Stampede will be held on the west side of the property at Heartland Motorsports Park, which will force the previously scheduled dirt track race set for June 22 to be canceled. Remaining dirt track events at Heartland Motorsports Park are still scheduled for ASCS Sprint Cars and Late Model dirt track races on Saturday, July 20, and Saturday, August 24.
